From a Dream to a Community

My Spanish Academy began as a small Saturday program in Howard County, MD, founded by a passionate bilingual educator who believed that language learning should feel like play, not work.
What began with a handful of families quickly grew into a beloved community of children, parents, and educators united by a love of Spanish and Latin American culture. Every Saturday, our classrooms come alive with songs, stories, art, and laughter — all in Spanish.
Today, My Spanish Academy continues that mission: giving school-age children in Howard County the tools, confidence, and cultural pride to thrive as bilingual individuals in an increasingly connected world.
