SPANISH IMMERSION FOR CHILDREN
"To have another language is to possess a second soul"
We believe in the importance of a 'happy learning experience' and we are committed to provide an excellent Spanish Immersion Program and help the children succeed in our multicultural world.
Our play-based Spanish Immersion program reflects the integration of physical, cognitive, social, emotional, and language areas to promote a real language learning.
We understand that play-based method is the best way to promote a language learning and also encourage curiosity, discovery and problem solving.

Irene Jallo, Director of My Spanish Academy LLC was born in Peru, and received her BA in Early Childhood Education in Lima. She gained experience working in Preschool and Elementary schools before moving to the USA. Once living in Maryland, she worked as a educator-coordinator for The Judy Hoyer Center (Montgomery County) a community-based learning center for children, teaching literacy to young families and preparing children to get ready for school in their native language. In 2015, after 14 years serving the community she formerly opened My Spanish Academy LLC, a play-based Spanish Immersion program for children, created to expand children's language and cultural horizons. On October 2016 Miss Irene offered three different workshops for The Maryland State Family Child Care Association (MSFCCA) during their annual conference.
Miss Irene completed successfully the Child Care Administration training at Howard Community College on December 2016. On May 2018, Miss Irene opened doors for KIDDIE MUNDO Learning Center, the first Spanish Immersion Preschool in Howard County, following her compromise to promote the Spanish acquisition for children.
As a parent and educator she believes that expanding children minds with language skills will make a huge impact in our society and community on the future generations.
